I really want to like the show Girls, but I just don’t like Hannah. She’s too spoiled and entitled. I know in a way her, and the other girls on the show, are not the usual selfless paradigms that you see on television. This is meant to show something more real, because sometimes real people are insecure and petulant and selfish. But that hint of realism is what bothers me. Are kids that age, and they are still kids, really that spoiled and entitled? That’s a bit depressing.
